The Credit Union commemorated St. Joseph’s Feast Day by breaking ground for the new CFFCU corporate branch office on March 19. Catholic Family Federal Credit Union was founded by the St. Joseph Catholic Church parishioners 63 years ago. It was fitting to recognize our beginnings on this special feast day.
We remember our founders and extend our gratitude to Father Arthur Klyber C.Ss.R, Edward Johnson, S.D. Neville, August Rosenhamer, Andrew Price, Paul Bock, V.R. Terry and Edward Dietrich who founded St. Joseph Federal Credit Union in May 1947. As noted on the parish website, “St. Joseph’s feast day is a time to recognize the tremendous love God had for Joseph in making him responsible for the care of His "Beloved Son" (Mark 1:11.).” Joseph is our Patron Saint of the Universal Church and of new homes. We welcome his blessing upon our new and exciting location and facility.

The Credit Union’s purpose is to provide financial service, which means the Credit Union member comes first. From the beginning, credit unions have continued to live by this philosophy to help people be financially independent: Not For Profit, Not For Charity, But For Service.
“All of us at CFFCU look forward to the added convenience and member service opportunities this new location will provide. It’s our great members and our mutual financial stewardship over the years that make this possible. Please come join us as we grow our hometown Catholic Family Credit Union,” said Greg Peter, Board Chair.
A reception followed in St. Clare Hall at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
The new 6,200 square foot CFFCU corporate branch location at 717 North Socora will offer an ATM, three drive-thru lanes and safe deposit box services. The new facility will include a multipurpose room for board meetings, training and other events.
