Financial Education Presentations and Materials At Catholic Family Federal Credit Union we believe in our community and our youth. For this reason CFFCU would like to let you know what we can do for credit union members within a classroom or organization (Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts). We have a variety of classroom materials which members may borrow or have a Credit Union employee present topics to your organization.
Financial Initiatives for Teachers........Teacher Grants! Teachers may apply for a grant from CFFCU. Grants are available from $25 - $100. To be considered for a grant, applicants must be a current member of CFFCU. Applications are reviewed October 15. Grants will be awarded immediately after review. What is Money$mart? Money$mart is a financial management camp created specifically for Kansas middle school students. Money$mart is designed to offer middle school students training in sound personal financial philosophies and practices in a fun, camp environment that enhances leadership and teamwork skills. Students engage in specific workshops regarding topics such as Money and Choices, Budgeting, Saving and Goal-Setting and Cash and Credit. Who Sponsors Money$mart? Money$mart dollars and sense camps are sponsored by Kansas State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins, CPA and Kansas credit unions including, Catholic Family Federal Credit Union. When is Money$mart? If you are interested in participating in Money$mart camp call Cindy Hand at Catholic Family Federal Credit Union, (316) 264-9163 ext. 103 for a registration packet.
